About

In 1994, two industrious Estonian men put their heads and wallets together and created VV Auto AS. The Vs at the beginning of the name come from the first letters of the surnames of the founders, as was customary during those difficult times the company was established.

The principal activities have been heavy goods vehicle repair, restoration and, as necessary, customisation for 25 years. Our repair shop has given birth or new life to tens of thousands of trailers and all imaginable devices and mechanisms from trailers with moving floors, walls, and platforms, as well as double-decker buses to military armoured vehicles and conveyor systems.

The more time goes by, the less need there is for complex customisation, as almost anything can be bought as a final product from the factory. Therefore, VV Auto has evolved and now we perform simpler maintenance and repairs every day. However, we have also maintained our competence and equipment necessary for more complex works.

If insurance companies or owners agree with the reinstatement value, we can restore almost all trailers after an accident, regardless of how twisted or bent they are. More than half of our good employees have worked at VV Auto for more than 10 years and some of them even more than 20 years.

On average, we perform 5,000 maintenance and repair works a year, which has made us the market leader and biggest trailer repair company in Estonia. Our repair and preparation rooms can simultaneously hold 25 semi-trailers and we will be adding four modern repair and service rooms in 2017.

VV Auto REPAIRS TRAILERS ONLY WITH GREAT PLEASURE!

"I have worked at VV Auto since 1996. When I started working here, I repaired truck canvases but this did not suit my health condition. My speciality has been accident restoration for years now and even more complex aluminium parts and fuel tanks that require welding or repair reach my desk. I am greeted by varied and diverse work every day, the management is friendly and helpful and they keep to agreements.”

"I came to VV Auto in 1996. As mere 18-year-old schoolboy I knew very little of trailers. I have learned a lot during the years and welding, twisting and bending has become my speciality. Everything made of black iron that needs to be repaired or customised is my speciality. I like my work, friendly co-workers and the work environment. I also like the security and stability VV Auto has offered me for 21 years. I would find it dull to be a welder in a factory somewhere – at VV Auto, I do something varied every day and work on different projects. This guarantees enough diversity to happily come to work every morning."

"I came to VV Auto in 2005 to work in the sandblasting room. During the years, I have taken on painting and cleaning trailer chassis, superstructures and parts by using sand with steel pellets. After removing the old paint and rust, I prime, paint and clearcoat the surface, if necessary. What I like about VV Auto is, of course, the team and varied work. Every project is different enough: I have cleaned and painted double-decker buses and armoured cars. Lately, there have been a lot of concrete mixers and chassis."

"I have worked at VV Auto since 2006 and when it comes to trailers, my speciality is everything above the wheels – I am specialised in repairing the so-called superstructures. I like the on-the-go-nature of my work and my amazing co-workers."

"I started working at VV Auto in 1996 and I have stayed because my co-workers are pleasant and I still find challenges every day. All men can change a simple lamp or bulb but I enjoy solving more complex diagnostic issues."
